You may feel a creative project could benefit from additional investment. If your project is being done for a client and the client won’t cover the extra costs, you might contribute your own money. If you are thinking, “Oh no, nobody would do that,” rest assured—that happens more times than you might care to believe.
Your name will be on this project, and no one will ever know how much money you were paid or how much time you were allowed to complete the project. Others viewing the final outcome of the project won’t know the details that went on behind the scenes. The world will only see your name on the final product.
