There were two eclipses in September, one in your career house (a full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces, 15 degrees) and one in your home and family sector (a new moon solar eclipse in Virgo, 29 degrees), so you have been busy. You will welcome October because, in contrast, it will be a quieter month where you can follow your own agenda without interference.
The full moon of October 6 in Aries, 14 degrees, could be a big moment for you, for something you dearly want to happen will come to fruition. All full moons are influential for four days following the day they appear, so that brings you from October 6 to October 10. This is a good full moon for you. You may be attending a social event around this time, such as the wedding of a friend, and you may even be in the wedding party. Or you may be going to a seminar or charity event. Mars takes the lead, and since Mars is in your sixth house, it shows that you’ll have a lot to do to get ready. Your to-do list seems quite long.
It will be imperative that you complete all your most important tasks this month—don’t let those items lapse into November. November will be a very trying, difficult month. Your ruling planet Mercury will be retrograde in Sagittarius and Scorpio from November 9 to November 29, but you will feel Mercury’s legendary propensity to slow everything down and cause glitches and postponements for the entire month. Mercury begins to exert its effect two weeks before its retrograde.
You will need to shop for holiday presents in October if you hope to delight the people you are surprising with a gift. Don’t buy anything for yourself in November—you won’t enjoy the purchase as much as you anticipate, and you will only wind up sending the item back. Besides, all the courier companies like UPS and FedEx (as well as the post office) recommend shipping by December 10 to be sure gifts are delivered in time and without premium (and expensive) charges. It looks like Amazon and other big-box stores have astrologers, because they are all doing special holiday sales in early October. Take full advantage.
