Last month, the mutable signs\u2014Sagittarius, Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces\u2014were in the spotlight, and we had two eclipses. The first occurred on September 7 and was a full moon lunar eclipse in Pisces that highlighted your home and family. The second one (on September 21) arrived as a new moon solar eclipse in Virgo, and it lit your tenth houses of professional career advancement.<\/p>\n
Eclipses in Virgo and Pisces represent a fairly new family of signs, although we did have one full moon eclipse in Virgo earlier this year (which also highlighted your career) on March 13. There will be another full moon eclipse in Virgo next year on March 3, 2026, again highlighting your career.<\/p>\n
You were not destined to feel all the eclipses, only the ones in a series that touch your Sun sign, rising sign, natal moon, or other natal planets in your chart. If your birthday falls on December 7 (plus or minus five days), you likely felt the September 7 full moon lunar eclipse in terms of your home. If your birthday falls on December 20 (minus five days), you would have felt developments in your career. If your rising sign is one of the mutable signs of Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, or Pisces at 7 degrees (plus or minus five degrees) or 20 degrees (minus five degrees), you also would have felt the September 7 or 21 eclipse.<\/p>\n
If you did not hear any news during the eclipses last month, watch the days that circle October 7 and October 21, plus or minus four days\u2014eclipses can be felt a month to the day earlier, or one month to the day later, plus or minus four days.<\/p>\n

As you see, a number of Sagittarians had a lot to think about last month, but everyone will likely be happy to hear that October will be a calm little pool of turquoise waters. There will be a little ripple here and there, but for the most part, it will be a good, quiet month where you can get a lot done. Often that happens after big headline news: The little planets step back to let the eclipses have their say and only whisper mostly mild aspects afterward, giving you some time to adjust to any chances the eclipses may have wrought.<\/p>\n
Before I tell you about October (and I will go into detail), I need to urge you to get as much done this month as possible. We have a wild, turbulent month coming up in November.<\/p>\n
Mercury will be retrograde from November 9 to November 29. Mercury will start its retrograde in Sagittarius but move quickly into Scorpio for the main part of the retrograde. In total the retrograde will last about three weeks. Mercury rules your career, so you may have to deal with clients who keep changing their minds. As annoying as Mercury retrograde can be, that won\u2019t be the main problem next month\u2014it will be Uranus.<\/p>\n
Your career is likely to bring exciting news this month, and you might receive a bonus as a reward for your recent efforts on a project.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The full moon on November 5 has a fierce opposition between Mars and Uranus, a hot, difficult aspect that denotes anger, rebellion, and separation, as well as reckless, impulsive, and rash behavior. Uranus acts in a sudden way\u2014he has been called the Great Awakener. Uranus will oppose Mars in a tight degree starting on November 4, and the influence will be strengthened by the full moon (which heightens emotions) the next day. The full moon itself will light your sixth house of work projects and relationships with those who report to you.<\/p>\n
It would be logical to think that life will get better by the new moon two weeks later, but no, things will only get worse. On November 20, Uranus will directly oppose the Sun and new moon. The Sun and moon will be in Scorpio, 28 degrees and Uranus will be in Taurus, 29 degrees. This would not be a time to travel. Mercury, standing next to the Sun and new moon, will also be drawn in and receive its own opposition from Uranus, so something could come up at work that will likely need your instant attention.<\/p>\n
Uranus is associated with electricity, electronics, the digital world, and all tech. This planet\u2019s position may lead to a data breach, identity theft, stolen credit card numbers, and other scams and illegal activity. It will be important to check your bank and credit card statements. Make sure your IT department has the latest version of malware protection in place. November could bring a very big computer problem.<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s now change focus and talk about October, which as I said earlier, will be mainly gentle. The full moon in the first week of the month will be the most important aspect. The full moon will be in Aries, 14 degrees, and it arrives on October 6. This full moon will light the most romantic area of your chart, your fifth house.<\/p>\n

Something lovely is coming to a culmination\u2014you may meet someone special during this full moon, or if you are dating someone you care about, you may now decide you both are ready to live together. A stimulating, exciting day for love might be October 14 when Venus will flirt with Uranus in the cutest way. Cupid will send out all his little cherubs with their baby bows and arrows, so look your best\u2014you may be the one to feel the zing of love. It\u2019s a great day for a first date\u2014the chemistry could be electric\u2014but keep the relationship at a slow pace, or it will escalate too quickly and puff out. You can keep the relationship going if you build the emotional connection gradually.<\/p>\n
The perfect day to sign a contract, lease, proposal, or purchase order, or to close on a house or make any important promise, would be on October 24 when Mercury will be trine your ruler Jupiter.
